Pahalgam, first light
Kashmir does not hurry. Neither should you.
Private experiences in the Lidder valley, composed by one concierge and kept to your party alone.
Most people see Kashmir from a viewpoint, shoulder to shoulder, on someone else's clock. We would rather you stayed long enough to hear the river change its mind.
One experience a day
We plan one thing well, and leave the rest of the day open to the valley.
Only your party
No shared tours and no strangers at the next table. Each setting is yours alone.
One concierge
A single person arranges everything with you, from the first message to the drive home.
Choose an hour. Let it become the whole day.
Each experience belongs to a time of day, when the valley is at its best for it. Pick the one that calls to you, and your concierge will build the day around it.
Our signature day, from your door and back again
The Aru Meadow Table
High above Pahalgam, the Aru valley opens into wide meadows, a quick river and a ring of pine-dark slopes. For one day, a corner of it is set aside for your party, and five hours pass at the pace of the meadow.
- 11:00
Collected
A private car, warmed and waiting at your hotel.
- 11:50
The walk
An easy riverside walk with a local guide.
- 12:30
Pherans
An hour in traditional dress, against the valley.
- 13:00
The table
A Kashmiri lunch cooked beside you, with live santoor.
- 14:30
Stillness
Rugs, blankets and kahwa, with nowhere else to be.
Five hours, door to door. Private to your party. By arrangement only.
Reserve the meadowThe Forest Table
A table laid among the pines, with nothing to carry and no one else in sight. Our team cooks over the fire, serves, and clears away as if no one had been there.
- A privately styled setting with rugs and blankets
- BBQ cooked fresh, with kahwa through the afternoon
- Staff close at hand, or entirely out of sight
Camping Under the Stars
When the sky over Pahalgam clears, the stars take over completely. We raise a private camp at the water's edge, light the fire, and leave the night to the mountains.
- A private riverside camp, fully set up
- A bonfire, warm bedding and blankets
- Kahwa and a BBQ dinner, served privately
The Artisan's Valley
Before the day-trippers arrive, a local host walks you through a village of orchards, workshops and old stories. You sit with the artisans and stay for tea from the samovar.
- A guided walk with a local host
- Private visits with village artisans
- A traditional samovar tea ceremony
The Kashmiri Kitchen
The cooking that matters most here rarely reaches a menu. It happens in homes, over wood fires, in copper handed down through families. Your concierge opens those doors.
- A guided trail through local kitchens
- A traditional Kashmiri tasting menu
- Kahwa and local tea tastings, shaped to your diet

Questions
How is each experience priced?
Each day is composed around your party, your dates and your wishes, so each is priced individually. Your concierge shares a proposal and estimate once we understand what you have in mind.
How much notice do you need?
Twenty-four hours lets us prepare properly. For the Aru Meadow Table and special occasions, we suggest writing at least a week ahead. Guests travelling from abroad often confirm weeks in advance.
What if the weather turns?
Outdoor experiences depend on the conditions. Your concierge will reschedule or reshape the day with you, and a covered alternative is held for the Aru Meadow Table.
Can you accommodate dietary needs?
Always. Share them in advance and every menu, from the Forest Table to the tasting kitchens, is composed around them.
